Syrsky Said That Ukraine Has Not Yet Sent the Main Forces Into Battle

Ukraine has not yet used its full combat potential during the counteroffensive. This was stated by the commander of the ground forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky.

“I want to say that our main forces have not yet participated in the battles, and we are now looking for, probing for weaknesses in the enemy’s defense. Everything is still ahead, ”said Alexander Syrsky, his words are quoted by the newspaperThe Guardian.

He also noted that Ukraine has British Challenger 2 tanks in reserve. Only one of them was destroyed in battle.

Syrsky praised Russia for building defensive fortifications. According to him, the Russian Federation has foreseen and continues to foresee the most dangerous areas of movement for detachments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). “Russia is building a solid defense, which is quite difficult to break through,” the commander of the ground forces concluded.

Ukraine launched a counteroffensive in early June. However, she was unable to achieve success. Because of this, Ukraine’s Western partners began to become disillusioned with the operation . According to the Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky, Ukraine will conduct a counteroffensive for another two to three months .
