Funeral services were held Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Hebron Baptist Church near Liberty for Jeannine Dixon, 81, a longtime resident of Liberty. Rev. Cletus Moak and Dr. Randy Rich officiated. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery, with Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dixon passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Born November 17, 1928, in the Hebron Community, Mrs. Dixon was the daughter of Earl and Nina Anders Marsalis, both deceased.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 31, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb for Mona Chaney Jordan, 85, of Smithdale. Burial was in Adams United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Ms Jordan passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Camellia Estates in McComb.
Born December 24, 1924, in Rosedale, Ms Jordan was the daughter of E.R. and Mary McCrady Chaney, both deceased.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Gloster for Mary Lizzie “Dear” Dixon, 83, of Gloster. Rev. Robert Veal officiated. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Gloster.
Ms. Dixon passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Field Memorial Hospital in Centreville.
Born June 6, 1926, in Gloster, Ms. Dixon was the daughter of A.C. and Mary Dixon, both deceased.
Ms. Dixon was an active member of Willing Worker Baptist Church of New Orleans until 2005, when she moved back to Gloster and joined Sweet Home Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 4, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster for Elaine Merle Womack Dawson, 71, of Liberty. Rev. Jan Holloway and Rev. Stacy McCollum will officiate. Burial will be in New Hope Methodist Protestant Church Cemetery in Gloster.
Pallbearers will be Conner Capdau, Tommy Womack, Carlos Dawson, Chris Harrelson, Dillan McCollum and Zachary McCollum.
Mrs. Dawson passed away Monday, May 31, 2010, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Religious services were held Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty for Naomi Clariece Baucum, 67, of Liberty. Bro, Merrill Blalock officiated. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery.
Ms Baucum passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010, at her residence.
Born January 8, 1943, in Liberty, Ms Baucum was the daughter of Soule Jeff Wilkinson and Jessie Mae Scallion Wilkinson, both deceased.
Ms Baucum was a security guard at Georgia-Pacific.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 22, 2010, at 12:00 noon at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Liberty for Allen Causey, 61, of Gloster. Rev. Londia Weatherspoon officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Wells Funeral Home of Woodville.
Mr. Causey passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb.
Born October 20, 1948, Mr. Causey was the son of Willie and Willie Green Causey, both deceased.
Mr. Causey was disabled.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Causey was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Gloster for William T. Johnson, 86, of Cedar Hill, Texas. Rev. Emmanuel Powell officiated. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Gloster.
Mr. Johnson passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010, in Tallulah, Louisiana.
Born April 8, 1924, in Liberty, Mr. Johnson was the son of Johnny and Mosella Johnson, both deceased.
Mr. Johnson was a tool and dye marker and served in the U.S. Navy as 1st Class Petty Officer.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 14, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Centreville Baptist Church for Earl Reid, 87, of Centreville. Dr. Dennis Johnsey officiated. Burial was in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Centreville.
Pallbearers were Kelly Reid, Leslie Reid, Daniel Reid, Ryan Reid, Austin Sanders and Riley Sanders.
Honorary pallbearers were Brian Sanders, Darren Felder, Miles Felder, Steve Kinchen, Bud Howell, Dr. David McGraw, Feltus Stevens and deacons of Centreville Baptist Church.
Mr. Reid passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Lane Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 16, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church for Arcola Spears, 82, of Liberty. Rev. Hilton Taplin officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery, with Cook’s Funeral Home of Gloster in charge of arrangements.
Ms Spears passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010, at McComb Nursing and Rehab, after a lengthy illness.
Born July 23, 1927, in Amite County, Ms Spears was the daughter of Richard and Lula Holmes, both deceased.
Ms Spears worked for Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s senior citizen work program and LifeSkills for the handicapped in Summit.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 10, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church for Carey L. Williams, 83, native and resident Liberty. Dr. David Bishop and Rev. Zach Smith officiated. Burial in the East Fork Cemetery near Liberty.
Pallbearers were Jamie Lockard, Chris Lockard, Jay Foley, John Foley, Chris Williams and Reggie Richardson.
Mr. Williams passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010, at his residence in Liberty.
Born February 3, 1927, in Liberty, Mr. Williams was the son of Carey Jackson Williams and Ina Toler Williams, both deceased.
