Funeral services were held for Edna Mae Addison Spears, 67, of McComb, Friday, April 17, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Derrick Williams, pastor, and Rev. Willie R. Johnes officiated. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery, with Peoples Undertaking Co. of McComb in charge of arrangements.
Ms Spears passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009, at McComb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born October 3, 1941, in Amite County, Ms Spears was the daughter of Ada Mae Burton Addison, Leo Addison, both deceased, and Harry Martin of Amite County.

COLLIS TOBIAS JR

Funeral services were held for Collis Tobias Jr., 62, of Liberty, Saturday, April 18, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Chapel C.O.G.I.C. in Liberty. Burial was in Cox Cemetery in Liberty, under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home of Gloster.
Mr. Tobias passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb.
Born April 8, 1947, in Mississippi, Mr. Tobias was the son of Collis Tobias Sr. and Doris McDowell Tobias, both deceased.

JUANITA M. HARRINGTON

Funeral services were held for Juanita McNeely Harrington, 95, a longtime resident of Gloster, Monday, April 20, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster. Rev. Odus Jackson officiated. Burial was in Roseland Cemetery in Gloster.
Ms Harrington passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Wilkinson County Nursing Center in Centreville.
Born August 8, 1913, Ms Harrington was the daughter ofEdward James McNeely and Lydia Vienna Carter McNeely, both deceased.
Ms Harrington was a cashier at the former Piggly Wiggly in Gloster for twentyeight years.

HAZEL BURRIS CAIN

Graveside services were held for Hazel Burris Cain, 97, of McComb, Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at 12:00 noon in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. James Case officiated. Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home of McComb was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Ms Cainʼs grandsons and nephews.
Ms Cain passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009, at McComb Nursing and Rehab.
Born October 29, 1911, in Smithdale, Ms Cain was the daughter of John H. and Fannie Alford Burris, both deceased.

MARY LIZZIE SPEARS

Funeral services were held for Mary Lizzie “Red” Spears, Saturday, April 11, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church in Liberty. Rev. Martin Ennis, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Ms. Spears passed away Monday, April 6, 2009, at University Medical Center in Jackson, after a lengthy illness.
Born May 17, 1944, in Liberty, Ms. Spears was the daughter of Nehemiah and Lula Tobias Spears, both deceased.
Ms. Spears was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church.

BERTHA ROBINSON

Funeral services were held Mfor Bertha Lee Martin Robinson, 75, of New Orleans and formerly of McComb, Saturday, April 11,2 009, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Bower Baptist Church. Dr. Willie Tobias, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Ms Robinson passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009, at River Parish Medical Center in LaPlace, Louisiana.
Born April 21, 1933, in Amite County, Ms Robinson was the daughter of Frank and Fannie Miller Martin, both deceased.

ANGELA DIAN SMITH

Funeral services were held for Angela Dian Smith, 44, resident of Jackson, Louisiana, Thursday, April 9, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Amite County. Rev. Joe Jackson officiated. Burial was in Ebenezer Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith passed away Monday, April 6, 2009, at her residence.
Born November 24, 1964, in Vivian, Louisiana, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of George “Bud” Washington Nottingham and Mamie Lee Stinson Nottingham, both deceased.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith.

LEVALL CASON

Funeral services were held for Levall Cason, 81, of Centreville, Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Embre Hill Church of God in Christ in Centreville. Elder Odell Franklin officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Cason passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Field Memorial Community Hospital in Centreville, after a lengthy illness.
Born June 22, 1927, in Centreville, Mr. Cason was the son of Rev. James Cason and Classeria Dennis Cason, both deceased.
Mr. Cason was a retired construction worker and a deacon and trustee at Embre Hill Church of God in Christ.

CHARLIE DUNN SR.

Funeral services were held for Charlie Dunn Sr., 79, of Gloster, Thursday, April 2, 2009, at New Hope Baptist Church in Gloster. Rev. Emmanuel Powell officiated. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Gloster.
Mr. Dunn passed away Friday, March 27, 2009, at Liberty Community Living Center.
Born November 9, 1929, in Louisiana, Mr. Dunn was the son of Dalton and Mattie Holmes Dunn, both deceased.
Mr. Dunn worked for Anderson Funeral Home. He was a loyal member of New Hope Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, was on the usher board and was a member of the male chorus.

RUBY M. JONES

Funeral services were held for Ruby McManus Jones, 89, of Liberty, Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at OʼZion Baptist Church in Meadville. Rev. J. Frank Smith officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Ms Jones passed away Monday, March 30, 2009, at Liberty Community Living Center.
Born August 22, 1919, in Franklin County, Ms Jones was the daughter of Stanford and Mattie Temple McManus, both deceased.
Ms Jones was a homemaker and a member of OʼZion Baptist Church.
